Boston Attractions - Faneuil Hall Marketplace

Are you looking for something to do on the next bright and sunny day in Boston? I have just the thing for you. You should visit the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Keep reading this article and learn about what makes the marketplace worth visiting and to learn what you should expect when you get there.

The Faneuil Hall marketplace opened up in 1976. At the time it was an original idea that was so successful and popular that it has since been copied around the country. It is a festival style marketplace where you can buy food, drinks and shop for a number of other products. There are over 100 different places to eat, to drink and to shop at the marketplace. You can find merchandise that is unique to Boston or you can find merchandise that you would expect to find at any mall in America. It is a good blend of the average and the unique so there is something for everyone. This is a very popular attraction so you should expect large crowds. This also serves to make it a great place to people watch or to just hang out with friends. Next time you are in Boston be sure to swing by the Faneuil Hall Market. You will not regret it and will probably return often.

If you would like to visit the marketplace you can find it between North, Congress, and State streets. The market is open from 10 Am to 9PM from Monday through Saturday and from 12:00 to 6 PM on Sundays. Most of the bars and restaurants do stay open longer than the market however. Parking can of course be tight because of the popularity of the market but there are several garages available to you. Some of those include the Government Center Garage on Congress street and the markets garage on Atlantic Avenue.
