Passport to Wealth Review - Is Passport to Wealth a Scam?
Darren Gaudry designed Passport To Wealth. The company produces exclusive software programs that help to boost online sales. These products include numerous software programs for protecting the hacking of Internet data, digital scripts for Internet marketing and many more.
Nevertheless, in recent times, Passport To Wealth is even offering Multi Level Marketing (MLM) opportunities to grab more customers and expose products on a larger scale. Therefore, Passport To Wealth is a new MLM firm providing many opportunities for MLM home based business.
The company provides adequate training programs for its members to get started with the sale of various software programs. These programs are attractive and modern due to which the consumers are attracted towards them. Passport To Wealth follows an Aussie (Australia) 2up compensation plan. It means that any new member joining Passport To Wealth compensation plan has to create two members below him/her and likewise the other two members have to create two more members below themselves. Next, the profit earned by the final two members will be handed over to the main head member.
This type of compensation plan is very effective, influential, and easy to understand and is uniquely designed for home based business and other MLM opportunities. MLM companies in the U.S. and Australia have extensively been using this plan. Therefore, this Australian 2up plan has gained tremendous popularity and it named as Down Under.
However, every established and aspiring company has some or the other drawback and Passport To Wealth is not an exception to this. This company provides adequate help and training to all its members at every stage irrespective of the experience of that particular person in that organization.
As per the cons are concerned, if a member helps to bring in a new person in the pyramid and if he/she is capable of making two sales per day, then the main member will be paid for that member's first two sales. Thereafter, the main member will not be able to enjoy profits of sales made by the new member and this might result in the breakage of pyramid. It may result in conflicts and competitions. Moreover, many members do not find the compensation plan of Passport To Wealth much beneficial.
Passport To Wealth is a genuine MLM based company that is proudly supplying extensive sophisticated software programs to every customer for helping to boost their online businesses.

Passport to Wealth Business Review
Passport to Wealth (PTW) is a fairly new company in the home business arena. PTW offers a home business opportunity by selling or marketing their products through the direct selling industry.
The Passport to Wealth product line is compiled of many software titles on internet marketing. The PTW opportunity consists of marketing these programs for $997. According to the passporttowealth.com website, there are several different titles of software that come with the business.
The Passport to Wealth business opportunity contains a 2-Up compensation plan with a payout of $997 for every sale made by the qualified affiliate. The issue with the Passport compensation plan is the requirement of two sales (hence 2-Up). To get started with PTW, a new person must pay $997 to become a Passport business associate and then give up almost $2000 ($997 x 2) from their first two qualifying sales to their qualified sponsor. This means they must give up almost $3000 before they can earn any wealth from the program. Another issue with the Passport to Wealth 2-Up program is that if you bring in someone who makes a sale or two per day, you only get their first 2 sales and then you no longer get paid on their efforts. They then breakaway from the sponsor and actually end up becoming the competition. This doesn't give the qualified PassporttoWealth sponsoring associate much motivation to help the new associate since they will ultimately become competition.
In conclusion, Passport to Wealth seems to have a decent product line, but the comp plan leaves more to be desired. Some people do well with 2-Up programs, but most struggle. If you are an experienced internet marketer and don't mind having to pass up your first 2 qualifying sales, then the PTW business opportunity might be the right fit for you.

The Passport Application Process Made Easy
A passport is most specifically used as the form of identification necessary for international traveling. There are two different kinds a person can acquire, a booklet or a card, and it is possible to acquire both. A passport card is less expensive than a booklet, and one must pay the fees for each if he or she would like both forms of identification. Either way, a United States passport application will need to be completed.
Individuals will need a passport booklet for all international travel, while a passport card can only be used for those planning to travel strictly within North America. The card will not be accepted for those traveling by air to these places, though. The card will look similar to a driver's license, while the book is like a small pamphlet with a blue cover, unless an individual is a diplomat or a citizen-employee of the United States who happens to be working abroad.
The passport application that most people need to fill out is Form DS-11. This is used for individuals who are looking to get this documentation for the first time. These individuals need to make a visit to a specifically mandated government facility that falls under the Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of Passport Services and Customer Service.
One such office that falls under that government department is a local post office. Other government offices can be found by going online and performing a quick search through whichever search engine an individual trusts most. When going to one of these offices, individuals should make sure they have all the documentation necessary to complete the transaction.
With Form DS-11, an individual will need to provide evidence of U.S. citizenship, an original copy of primary identification, a copy of that primary identification, two copies of one photograph, and the financial means to pay for the fees. There are specific stipulations that are required for each of these, so it would be wise for individuals to check online to see what these stipulations are.
Those individuals who are filling out Form DS-82 do not have to make an appearance in a government-mandated facility. Only certain individual will meet the criteria for being allowed to mail information to renew their U.S. passport. The most recent passport of these individuals will be undamaged and able to be sent with the application, issued when an individual was over the age of sixteen, issued within the past fifteen years, and issued with the individual's current name.
Whether an individual is filling out Form DS-82 or DS-11, he or she will not have a hard time with it. They are rather simple documents that ask such questions relating to the date of birth and social security number.. There are a few questions dealing with family history, so it would be wise to be near a phone in case a family member needs to be called.

Small Hotel - Where to Stash Your Valuables
One of the best vacation destinations is a sunny island paradise in the Caribbean called Barbados. This tiny slice of heaven is known for its exclusivity, top-class accommodations, quality establishments, warm people and gorgeous beaches. However, the problem with Barbados is that it can be pretty expensive. A lot of people find this discouraging especially since financial situations have become much more strained in light of the global economic downturn.
In the past, whenever people plan to go to Barbados, they would opt to book their stay at luxurious accommodations like star rated hotels. But now, people are more flexible with their preference, keeping in mind that fun experiences are not limited by their lodgings. That's why cheaper alternatives such as a Barbados small hotel are becoming quite popular choices for visitors.
Every hotel, big or small, will advise guests to never leave their valuables in their rooms. They would suggest for them to hide these items in the hotel's safe. However, people can never be sure of what "safe" is for others. That's why some would still prefer to keep these things with them. But how about those times when it would such an inconvenience to lug about these precious objects? Where can people stash their valuables in their Barbados small hotel rooms? Here are some ideas:
Under the mattress - This is surprisingly effective for small objects if the right precautions are taken. The best place to hide things is in the middle of the mattress where they won't be found easily by simply pulling up one of the corners. A great suggestion is to spread out clothes or a book on the bed because believe it not, the cleaning staff is less likely to disturb the bed if it's in that manner. However, the best time to do the actual hiding is after the bed has been made for the day.
Hiding in plain sight - People always assume about what their eyes tell them and are easily fooled. This is actually one of the best ways to hide valuables in a room. In fact, there's a story by Edgar Allan Poe called "The Purloined Letter" wherein the clever thief baffles the police by masking a stolen letter in plain sight by refolding it and jotting down another address. A good example for this trick is hiding your passport in a pile of worthless papers, or leaving a few dollars carelessly to distract any thief from looking further. Here is an idea for hiding things in plain sight:
Taping an envelope in a hidden place - To do this, the guest can put the valuable in the envelope and then tape it on: the underside of a trashcan (make sure not to use that trashcan so the cleaning staff won't touch it); bottom of the desk or the inside of a drawer and; on a solid section of the inside of the bi-fold doors if available. Whenever these kinds of doors are opened, the doors close on themselves hiding the envelope as a result.

What Not to Do When About to Go on Holiday
So you are thinking about going on vacation! Here are a few things to keep in mind if you go abroad to make the whole event run a bit smoother.
To begin with have a list of all of the things you want to take with you on vacation including passport, credits and any documentation you might need.
Before you set off for the airport, make sure you have your passport. Put it inside something you have to carry with you to the airport so that you wont just carry it about in your hand, place it down for a second and forget it as you head out the door (believe me it happens).
If buying travelers checks make sure you shop around to see who is giving you the top exchange rate and when you start to exchange them back look out for banks, charging you, to exchange them back again.
If you have a credit card it is worth taking that with you to make sure you have a fall back if anything goes amiss (just make sure you keep it separate from the rest of your credits)
Look at weather forecasts to see what its going to be like and make sure you take some decent tanning lotion with you. Stay in the shade most of the time and give yourself some sunlight for brief intervals to begin with until you start to acclimatise to the sunlight.
Keep away from alcohol when your due to go on a plane as, one, you may well get turned away from your journey, two as the airplane rises through the air you are going to feel very light headed! And three, when you first get into a hot country you are sure to get dehydrated very quickly. Alcohol wont help this.
Mostly make sure you have fun, but don't be silly. You take yourself with you wherever you go, and there is no point ruining your life because you where being reckless on vacation.

Passport Application Online
Great news for travelers! You can now fill out your passport application online. The US Department of State has put together on their website a new system in which you can make your passport application online, which will save you a lot of time and hassle over having to fill out many pages of forms by hand.
When doing the application, the Online Passport service will automatically send you to the correct form depending on your individual circumstances, such as whether this is your first time applying for a US passport, your passport was lost or stolen, you want to renew an existing American passport, or the data contained in your existing passport has changed or is no longer accurate.
The process itself is fairly simple, you first proceed to entering your data on the secure website, such as your name, date of birth, place of birth, occupation, etc.
Once you have finished filling out the form, you then need to print out the papers and take the oath at a passport acceptance facility. Do not sign the application before taking it to the passport acceptance facility, as your signature would need to be witnessed by an official from there.
You also need to submit your passport photographs as well as supporting documentation to prove US Citizenship, such as a birth certification or certificate of naturalization. To avoid any undue delays in getting your new passport, make sure you submit all the necessary documents and that the information contained in the application that you filled out is complete and accurate. It is also important that the passport photographs that you submit meet all the requirements set forth in the Department of State website. This is why it is recommended to use a professional photographer's services in order to get your photographs taken.
The processing times vary, however completing your passport application online has the advantage of making processing times quicker than filling out a manual form like before. If you choose the regular service, you can expect to receive your passport in about three weeks. If your travel needs require you to get your passport sooner, in that case there is an expedited option, in which the process of sending in the application, and returning your passport to you by overnight delivery can take less than two weeks from the date you submitted the application.
The Department of State has a tool that allows you to check the status of your application directly on their website. That way, you can have a better idea of what the status is and when you can expect to receive your new passport. You can use this tool after 5 to 7 days have passed since your application has been submitted. All you have to do is enter your last name, social security number and date of birth on their site.

Passport Renewal
Packed your bags for a long holiday abroad? Ready to leave? Before you sign off, it would be wise to check if your passport has expired. If so, don't get tense. Just consider yourself lucky that the procedure of passport renewal has improved over the years and will not take much time.
Passport renewal is a service offered by the government of a country for its citizens who need to travel internationally and are not the first-time applicants of a passport. Passport renewal is basically the procedure of renewing or re-issuing a passport in case it has been lost, stolen or damaged. A passport is also renewed if the name of the applicant has changed and his current passport bears his old name.
The steps involved in the process of renewal include submitting a passport renewal application form and important documents like identification, birth certificate, citizenship proof and passport-size photos. Apart from this, the payment is also to be included with the forms submitted. Sometimes certain modifications or amendments have to be made in printed passports, for which submitting a passport renewing application is required.
Normally, the process of passport renewal does not take too long, 6 weeks on average. But in cases of emergency, the process can be sped up, reducing the time taken to one day.
Owing to security issues the method of passport renewal has been made more rigid and complex. This has been done by including digital photographs, biometric technology, and the most recent, e-passport. However, passport renewal is not an expensive service, and provides us with a gateway to the world outside our national borders.

Touring Boston? Here Are Some Great Suggestions...
With its rich history, the city of Boston offers plenty of activities for tourists. Known as the birthplace of freedom, Boston is packed with destinations that are both educational and fun.
Historical Attractions
The city of Boston played a vital role in the Revolutionary War, and the most important historical spots have been connected by a 2.5mile long red line called "The Freedom Trail." The trail begins at The Greater Boston Convention and Visitor Center and visitors can choose to follow the trail themselves or take a tour led by guides in historical costumes.
The attractions on the Freedom Trail include the Boston Common, the oldest public park in the U.S., the State House, the Black Heritage trail, the Park Street Church, the Granary Burying Ground, where famous figures like Paul Revere and John Hancock lie, King's Chapel and Burying Ground, Benjamin Franklin's Statue, located on the site of the first public school in the United States.
Further along there is the Old Corner Bookstore building, the Old South Meeting House and the Old State House, once the seat of the British Government in Boston and the spot where the Boston Massacre took place in 1770.
Faneuil Hall
Faneuil Hall is next, followed by the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church and Copp's Hill Burying Ground. The trail heads to the Charlestown Navy Yard, the home of the ship the U.S.S. Constitution which fought in the war of 1812, and the Bunker Hill Monument marks the location of the famous battle that took place in 1775.
Those who enjoyed the popular eighties sitcom "Cheers" can visit the bar where it all started. The original Cheers is located at 84 Beacon St. and welcomes visitors.
Boston Duck Tour
For a unique excursion, try taking a Boston Duck Tour. These tours are conducted from actual World War II amphibious landing vehicles, which take passengers past Boston's major attraction then splash into the Charles River for the water portion of the tour.
Boston Public Garden
The Boston Public Garden is located in the Boston Common and was the United States' first botanical garden open to the public. Visitors love to head to the garden's pond and hire swan shaped boats that are pedaled by guides so guests can relax and enjoy the view.
Red Sox
Check out a Boston Red Sox baseball game at the legendary Fenway Park. The park was opened in 1912 and is the oldest ballpark in the Major Leagues. Look for famous features of the park like the wall in left field dubbed "the green monster" or the single red seat in the right field bleachers that marks the landing spot of the longest home run ever hit at the park, a 502 feet long hit by Ted Williams in 1946.
Finally, Boston has several top-notch choices for museum lovers, including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Science and the Boston Children's Museum. There are just about enough attractions to keep you fully entertained over a weekend.

Walt Disney World's Best Summertime Activities
It's summer and the heat is on in Walt Disney World. Here are some tips to make your vacation a bit cooler.
** Take a break from the theme parks and spend a day by one of Disney's fantastic resort pools. What better way to cool off in the summer heat.
** Shop till you drop in the air conditioned shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney. Pick up all your souvenirs at the newly remodeled World of Disney, the largest Disney store anywhere.
** Splish splash the day away at one of Disney's unique water parks. Typhoon Lagoon is a beauty with a pool boasting some of the tallest simulated waves in the world. Or if you're a daredevil at heart head to Blizzard Beach with its wild, rushing water and death-defying slides.
** Snag a bass on a fishing excursion. Pontoon boats with experienced guides depart from the resort marinas to fish the waters of Bay Lake, the Seven Seas Lagoon, Lake Buena Vista, and the Sassagoula River. No fishing license is required and it's strictly catch and release.
** Hit the water at the Contemporary Resort where Sammy Duval Water Sports offers parasailing, water-ski, tubing, and personal watercraft action. It's the kick of a lifetime!
** Catch a wave at Typhoon Lagoon with Cocoa Beach Surfing School. Learn to surf in the super wave pool before park opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
** Take a spin on one of Disney's waterways. With 850 acres of lakes, 130 feet of shoreline, 66 miles of canals, and over 500 watercraft, boating is a major pastime at Walt Disney World. Most resorts as well as Downtown Disney have their own marina with a variety of boats available for hire including Boston Whaler Montauks, pontoon boats, sailboats, Sea Raycers, even a luxury yacht.
** Cool off in the mountains of the Himalayans. Expedition Everest, the Animal Kingdom's newest attraction, involves out-of-control railcars that race forward and backward, sending Disney's Animal Kingdom guests swooping into the unknown to brave twists, turns and drops inside and outside a mighty mountain. It all leads to an unforgettable encounter with the yeti.

Japan Travel -- Rotary Group Study Exchange Goes to Japan, Article One
The international organization known as Rotary promotes yearly travel that all people between the ages of 26 and 40, male and female, and of all backgrounds - should know about - because it is a Rotary-funded six week study aboard and anyone can apply to be a part of this significant life experience. If you are this age group - you could enjoy the kind of experience that is described in my notes in this article. To find out more about the program go to the international Rotary website and search for GSE - Group Study Exchange - and contact your local Rotary Club for more information.
April 9th - Saturday, and 10th - Sunday, in Japan:
The GSE 2005 Exchange Trip began on April 9th . My GSE Team Members - Harry Abbott, Julia Vasileyva, Antonio Verges and Monica Koller -- gathered at the gate to board the plane at San Francisco International Airport to begin our journey to Fukuoka, Japan. It was a long flight - 14 hours with a layover in Nagoya. When we arrived, we were welcomed by our Japanese hosts including Mika, Izumi and Ai - and it was fun to see the sign welcoming the GSE Team that they had posted at the arrival gate. It was about 7PM in the evening on Sunday - 3AM on Saturday at home - and they took us by car through the streets of Fukuoka to our hotel for two nights, the Nishitetsu Grand Hotel. We felt an earthquake after shock as we checked into our rooms - Hisa San said that it was a "welcome shock". The team crashed for the night, in anticipation of a full day tomorrow.
April 11th - Monday:
Up early this morning - ready to start the day, and in this large city I could hear the roosters crooning. I walked a few blocks down the street for my first cup of Starbucks coffee in Japan (have to admit it tasted good) and enjoyed the bustle on the main street of Fukuoka. On with my team blue blazer, and armed with many gifts to take to our hosts (including Kona coffee from Teri in half pound bags) - we assembled for a Japanese style breakfast back in the hotel. I first noticed how gracious it is here - gentle bowing, smiles, many to escort you - and a people connection that looks you in the eye and sees you (I like that). I'm feeling comfortable here.
Oh, my gosh - we're blessed with experiences. The team members are elated. We met with Mika San and she outlined each of our plans while we are here, the host families that we will be staying with, and the areas that we'll visit. They say that the months of April and May are the best months to be here - lucky us. Fukuoka is a city of 1.7 million people and the island of Kyushu is about 280 miles long and 350 miles wide. We will leave Fukuoka tomorrow and go to Rotary Areas 6 and 7 which are more rural.
The cherry blossoms were in full force as we headed down the river this morning. Our first stop was the American Consulate. We met with the Principal Officer & Consul for the U.S., Joyce Wong. She talked about her responsibilities to the State Department and her assignment here for three years. Also about how popular Fukuoka is because people here have a positive outlook and welcoming hospitality. The Prefecture (which is like our state) is known for growing teas, sweet strawberries, fruits and vegetables - and the best seafood in Japan. It produces one third of the world's semi-conductors and is part of the Silicon Sea Belt (like our Silicon Valley) and produces about 1 million autos that find their way to the U.S. market. Fukuoka was named the most livable city in Japan, she says. We comment on what a beautiful and clean city that it is.
Next we're off to the Fukuoka West Rotary Club lunch meeting - and most notable, there are no women in this club - imagine that. We meet Dr. Hirohata, who is the incoming District Governor - and he says the he has a Japanese/Boston accent! A RI Director, Mr. Suenaga is from this Club. There are about 140 members, and the club is 50 years old - but not the oldest club in the City. By the way, the District has about 3700 Rotarians, and less than 1% are women - something to consider here. The video that Harry put together highlighting each of our team members worked well to show who we are, since we are limited in our language communication. It was a very stiff men's Club - with formality that we didn't understand.
We were received in the Governor's office in the afternoon (ie. the equivalent of "Arnold's" office in California) and spoke with the Director of International Affairs - and learned about the Prefecture and the Japanese government.
The women got dressed tonight with high shoes as part of their "look" - and once at the restaurant we were barefoot like all the rest. Our hosts had a party for us at the restaurant Kanzan - and it was lovely. Our hosts were so fun - they laugh a lot, tell jokes and are very playful - by contrast. One host told about his first trip to the U.S. He ordered a grapefruit on the plan and he expected to get a grape fruit - and what came to him was something that looked like an orange - we all laughed hard at that one. We were hosted by Tomoshige Tachibana, his wife and daughter - and he is the current District Governor. He spoke fondly about meeting our District Governor, Ron Sekkel and Cindy - and we presented him with the gift from our Rotary District.
There were about 30 people at the party, including some of the families that we will be staying with. And, Kenji Ogawa (Ken) was there - he'll be the incoming team leader when this District sends us a team next year. His team has already been picked and we will be meeting them later. We're always amazed at the beauty of the presentation of the foods here - and know that the diet is going to take a few pounds off of all of us. The presentations are in Japanese, so we miss some of the communication that doesn't get interpreted - and many of the people we meet aren't conversant in English - but it's better than our Japanese. The evening opened with a beautiful traditional Japanese dance - and included plenty of sake and beer to make the evening merry. It was a very full first day.
April 12th - Tuesday:
After breakfast and luggage in the lobby - we headed for the train station to leave Fukuoka and travel into the countryside. Dr. Maruyana took us on the train to Omuta and the Omuta Rotary Club. The room was set western style, and with about 60 - and again - no women in this Club. Julia, Monica and I stood out in the room. As Izumi (Dr. Maruyana) and I talked about women in Rotary - he pointed out to me that it is not only an issue of gender but also one of "class" that has limited women in Rotary here. He was kind and said that there are not very many of me here - meaning that woman have not generally had the access to the economic structure here that I have had in the U.S. Also that women are not considered in the higher class of the society that Rotary chooses its membership from here. Interesting - it is hard for me to hold my tongue. I point out to the Club as I speak that my Club looks very different than theirs - that my Club has 50% women. And further, that many men in America had trouble with this change, that some left Rotary in protest - but that they generally love women in Rotary now. They shake their heads - and someone interprets that they are saying, no women here. They ask what classifications of women join our Club. They don't think that this will change in the future. Izumi says that he is radical - that he thinks that this change is necessary and that the world's future requires it.
Back on the train - much like our trains only very clean - we continue down the line to Kurume City. The houses are getting bigger (with Shogun-style roofs) and there are lovely mountains in view. We are going to Nishi-Nippon shinbun (Newspaper) where we meet with a reporter who asks about us and plans to do an article in the largest newspaper. It's a walk from there, with the wind blowing hard, to City Hall and the Mayor's Office. The Mayor joins us and we learn that the picture to accompany the newspaper article is taken with the Mayor in his office and his warm welcome.
Izumi has a beautiful house with some western looking rooms, and a room that we gather in and sit cross legged around the table. Japanese sweets and tea is served and computers in mass come out to see what we've recorded for the day. Embarrassing to tell but I went upstairs to the bathroom, and pushed the wrong button on the toilet - and water shot all over the ceiling - imagine. They have it all over us in toilets here - they're heated and do all kinds of things.
Last night at the dinner, Mr. Tanaka served as a Japanese metaphor for me. He put a chopstick on the table - then intended with his mind, as he says - and moved that chopstick six inches in the air without touching it. But that wasn't all, he borrowed someone's watch - and by putting his hands on both sides of it - and intending with the concentration of his mind - he moved the time forward by an hour! Amazing.
Harry San, Monica San, Julia San, Antonio San and I go off to our host families from Izumi's house and started our Japanese stay. From here you will be hearing from each of us individually - with unique experiences and I'll continue to talk about the things that we are doing together. So lucky - I'm staying with the Tanaka's. Much baggage is moved and everyone goes off happily, with my cell phone number as needed.
Ai picks me up, with the Tanaka's and we are headed to a very special Japanese style restaurant - and more small plates of food than I can eat. Quickly, though, after dinner - we decide that we're going to head to the Hot Springs - wow - am I ready for that. We enter a building with a women's side and a men's side - peel off to get in the warm pools, yes - it soothed. By cab we drove to Ogori and the hundred year old house were the Tanaka's live. I'm staying in a room to myself with a futon bed and slept very comfortably. In the evening we laugh a lot as the translation goes back and forth - with Ai translating - because the Tanaka's don't speak much English. I think that his business is importing and exporting, but not sure - but they travel and Mrs. Tanaka has many of the same brands of clothing that I recognize, from her trips - including a beautiful Italian suit that she was wearing. Once I was in their home, all were very relaxed and genuinely hospitable - we're well cared for here.

The Road to a Passport Name Change
A passport is the legal identification booklet that must be acquired by a citizen before leaving the country. Getting passport is a process all its own. However, getting a passport name change invites many different obstacles to overcome. The government will require specific steps be taken to ensure the correct up-to-date information will appear on the new passport issued.
Reasons for a changing one's name, age, and date the passport was issued all directly affect the processing of a new passport. Each one of these examples will cause a person to be subject to differing guidelines for obtaining a new and current passport. Each case will ask for specific documents, proof of identity, and fees.
When a couple gets married or a court order changes someone's name, new passports must be issued. This process can be completed over the mail and with no expense if the passport was issued in the same year. The government will ask for a marriage certificate, the old passport, and a DS-5504 form to be completed and submitted. In cases of legal name change, a court order for the name change is required.
Different guidelines must be followed if the original passport was issued for more than year after a name is changed. This process can also be done over the postal service. In this case, one must send their old passport with a correctly filled out DS-82 form to the government. They will also need to supply legal documents proving the change in identity and two recent photographs with payment costs.
Failure to produce documents will cause a person to physically go to a passport agency. While at this government building, people trying to get a new passport must produce their old passport, a DS-11 form, and pay a first time fee for the new name. All final judgments will be made by officials working at these government offices.
Proving one's identity when no paperwork can be found will take much longer. So for the most part, try to hang on to all legal documents. A person trying to get a new passport must provide three documents over a five year period to workers at this location. They will also need to be supplied with two recent photographs for the creation of the new passport.
Children need passports to travel the same as adults. For a child to change their name on a passport, both guardians and child must be present at the agency. A birth certificate with both names of guardians on it, adoption decrees, and legal documentation of the name change must accompany the child to the office. A completed DS-11 form and parents personal identification papers must also be provided.
